A.J. “Al” Schneider sold the family car in 1935 to buy his first truck, starting what became one of America’s top trucking companies. His son Don pushed the company forward by being an early adopter of satellite communications for drivers. Today, Schneider’s iconic orange trucks and wide-ranging services honor both Al and Don’s legacy.
1859-1955
While the Goodyear blimp is iconic, Frank Seiberling’s true legacy is on the road. He founded Goodyear and transformed trucking with pneumatic tires. During WWII, Goodyear supported the military, and Seiberling gave back to his community. Today, Goodyear still leads in tire innovation, carrying his vision forward.
